Talk about the perfect way to wrap up a good year: celebrating the first birthday of the youngest member of one of my favorite families. It is hard to believe that little Austin is nearly one! (Karina and Jason celebrated his birthday a little early so the grandparents and extended family could partake in the fun while everyone was in town over the holidays). And what fun it was! A winter themed pajama party with horse-drawn carriage and pony rides, balloon animals, lots of great food and games…what a blast! And wonderfully timed for the mild winter day before the sleet storm hit…phew! Karina, you outdid yourself. Thank you for including me in the fun. It was wonderful to see you, Jason, Landon, Skye and your extended family again…and, of course, to meet the birthday boy! It’s always an honor to document your family’s special moments.
