Happy first birthday to Naomi and Olivia! I was excited to have the chance to celebrate with them last Saturday afternoon as their family and friends gathered together to laugh, eat and commemorate a terrific first year. Grace and Daniel really outdid themselves, creating a beautiful doljabi for the girls complete with gorgeous traditional outfits and an amazing food spread. The highlight of the party was the ritual when the babies “foretold their futures” by choosing from symbolic items such as a gavel, representing a possible law career, or a pencil, representing an academic path. Everyone got a huge kick out of the fact that we had a future doctor and golf champion in our midst! Congratulations, Grace and Daniel! I am sure the first year went by in a blink…keep enjoying every minute with your beautiful little girls.
