Oh my goodness…those cheeks! Those eyes! That smile! Elizabeth is just a beautiful baby. 6 months old is one of my all-time favorite ages (for photos and everything else, really) and Elizabeth really rocked her family’s holiday card session last week. It was wonderful to have the chance to catch up, Jen and Matt! I hope you enjoy the festivities with your precious little one this year.
I have had the best time over this past year getting to know this beautiful family as I have documented baby Will’s first year. I am finding it very hard to believe that he just turned one. And would you look at him go! He’s already an expert walker and as cute as ever. We started out at the Crystal Gardens and then, since the weather was balmy but not too, too cold, we headed out to Olive Park to take advantage of a beautifully overcast sky. It as great seeing you, Angela and Brian, as usual! Congratulations on a wonderful first year with Will and here’s to all of the wonderful experiences with him yet to come.
Despite the beautiful warm golden glow in all of these photos…it was COLD last week when Cathy, John, Jimmy, Maggie and I met at Montrose Harbor. Jimmy and Maggie were total rock star top models, though, and in between snaps did a lot of running and jumping around to keep warm. I just love this family. They are one of my oldest clients and I treasure the fact that I’ve gotten to see Jimmy and Maggie grow up. They are just so much fun. Thanks for another wonderful time, Cathy and John, and for sticking it out with me in the cold this year! It was great catching up with you four again.
Oh. My. Goodness. When I meet this family over a year ago, I didn’t think they could get any cuter. But they just did. Meet Jacob, Morgan’s new partner in crime. These boys are just so darling. We had to reschedule this session, originally, because of bad weather, and even though it was chilly last week when we finally got together, Laurie and I were so excited to still be able to capture some Fall foliage in a few shots. Congratulations again, Laurie and Steve, on your beautiful new addition, and thanks again for having me over to capture some family memories for you.
I’ve known Payal for years. We developed a friendship while working in advertising in Detroit, dreaming big dreams of owning our own businesses over lunch breaks together. Now here we are, both living in Chicago, running our own businesses!
