Baby Sana

Last Saturday morning’s session was so much fun, for a lot of different reasons. First of all…I really love newborn sessions. I mean…really, really love them. When the babies are tiny and cuddly little peanuts, the moments are just so tender and make me melt. Secondly, Priya’s mother and sister were in town visiting their new family member from India, and Rahul’s mother also came over to join in on the fun, so I was able to capture some seriously special family moments. I love it when everyone can get together! We even got some really cute shots of Fletcher, the family dog, with his new little sister. This session was a triple threat! It was so nice meeting you, Priya, Rahul, Sana, Pushpa, Kannaki and Rosemary!

Baby Tessa

Baby Tessa couldn’t have possibly arrived in a nicer family…what a lucky little girl she is! It was so exciting to meet her last week and to see her big brother, Ryan, in action. He was very gentle with her and did a great job during this family’s photo session. Congratulations again, Cara and Vern, on beautiful Tessa! And thanks again for having me capture another set of sweet family memories for you.

Thanks Jen! You do such a great job capturing the moments of Joy.

Patrick revisited

Wow! Patrick has morphed into a totally different little person since the last time I saw him. One thing stayed exactly the same, though. His amazing smile. Patrick was such a good sport last Wednesday as we explored Lincoln Park together. So were his parents! We all scrambled to move our shoot time up a few hours to avoid the nasty weather that was predicted to hit later that evening. The bad weather did hit a few hours after we wrapped… it was so amazing that we snuck this session in, Courtney and Sean! Thanks for another great time!

Alls well that ends well with Owen and Emery at Montrose Harbor

Ever have one of those mornings when things just don’t go your way? It was definitely a mixed bag two Saturdays ago when Jaime, Keith, Owen, Emery, Mike and I met up at Montrose Harbor. For starters, none of us remembered that the Paws Chicago walk was that morning, based in that park. It. Was. Chaos. Then it ended up being a much warmer day than predicted. THEN poor little Emery suffered a few scraped knees and finally a bloody nose when she accidentally banged into her stroller. But Emery is a tough little cookie and big brother Owen kept her smiling through it. Mike and I couldn’t miss with this darling family and we managed to capture some happy, non-frantic memories. In fact, looking at these images down the road, Jaime and Keith, you probably won’t even remember the drama. Glad I documented it forever for you? In spite of it all, we had a great time with you…a lot of laughs…and it was great seeing you four again!

Jen and Mike- I truly cannot believe these came out! Thank you SO much for helping make a crazy day fun. You got so many great pics! You really did an amazing job to catch these shots. Will look forward to keeping one or 2 of the shots on the final CD that capture the chaos 😉
