Ayanna

Another beautiful day…another beautiful family. I was so excited to meet Rupal, Stefan and baby Ayanna last week. They are good friends with several of my other clients…I always love when everyone is interconnected! Very fun. Ayanna could not possibly be cuter and we all had such a good time together. Thanks for spending the morning with me, Rupal and Stefan! It was wonderful meeting you three.

10 months old?!

I know I say this every single month…but seriously. How is our baby girl TEN MONTHS OLD already?! Despite the fact that Mike and I are reeling from all of her fun changes in the past few weeks, this is just the best age ever. I know I say that every month, too, but that doesn’t make it any less true. As you can see from her latest portrait, Ellie has more teeth! They are all coming in at once, which has been a blast, let me tell you. Poor kid. We’re still not crawling…but we are close! (If she wasn’t getting so frustrated with her lack of forward motion…I would totally be OK with her staying immobile just a little longer. Mainly due to the fact that all of the baby-proofing gear we purchased is still sitting in our guestroom, wrapped up in a ridiculously large Buy Buy Baby bag. Yeah, it’s doing us a ton of good there. Arg.) Ellie has added “giving kisses” to her repetroire of clapping, waving, “so big!” and peek-a-boo. She is also turning into quite the cuddler. She doesn’t gag any more when eating “puffs,” but will only eat them when we feed them to her, which is hilarious. Same with the sippy cup. Refuses to hold it herself. She’s not stupid…why do it herself if Mommy and Daddy can do it for her? Can’t get enough of this little squirt.

Boys will be boys

This session was such a blast. I can’t believe how big these two brothers have gotten since our last session together. Charlie is now into baseball, soccer AND hockey (and scored the winning goal in a nail-biter of a game the other day…you go Charlie!). Jack also dabbles in the same sports as his big brother and will soon give him a run for his money, I am sure of it. They gave me their best MVP baseball and hockey poses, rode bikes, played on the jungle gym, jumped on their bed and even had a pillow fight. PHEW! Erin and Andy, you guys are the best. I had a great time catching up with you four.

Meet Aiden

Oh baby Aiden! You are just so sweet. We had a beautiful day to take his newborn photos and, boy, did he rock them in his cute little outfit. Sanaz and Brent, it was nice to meet you! Enjoy every minute with your little darling.

Fun with Jackson at Winnemac Park

So, it’s no secret that I am much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. But when our neighbor and friend, Brad, who happens to be a photographer (I know…small world, right?!) suggested that we do a family photo swap, Mike and I jumped at the chance. Not only because we were more than a little excited to have Brad capture some family moments for us (it’s getting harder and harder for us to use a tripod and shoot family photos ourselves with our little wiggly-worm!) but because Brad, Nancy and their baby, Jackson, are just the cutest family ever. They are some of the nicest people we have ever met and we have really enjoyed getting to know them over the past three+ years. It’s always fun to talk shop with Brad and it’s incredible to have another new mommy friend in Nancy right across the hall. Thanks for suggesting the photo swap, Brad! I hope you like the moments we captured for you and Mike and I are just so excited to see the photos you took for us.
