I was so excited to meet baby Elizabeth last week. I’ve been anticipating her arrival since I took maternity photos for her parents at the end of last year. Elizabeth was a true top model during our session. She gave me all of her best newborn moves…wide awake, fast asleep, cuddles with mommy and daddy and a few adorable crying shots in between. What an angel. She’s perfect, Jen and Matt…congratulations again!
Katie had the best idea for a backdrop for her little one’s one-year photos: Amy’s Candy Bar. If you haven’t been before, check it out. It’s the happiest, most joyful, colorful, friendly, cool place in the Lincoln Square/Ravenswood neighborhood. Thank you so much, Amy, for letting us shoot in your sweet space. Lila had a blast (and she wasn’t the only one!). We wrapped up our fun session in Winnemac Park, surrounded by beautiful light and blooming flowers. Lulu the family pup even made a top model appearance in a few family photos! I can’t believe a year has gone by so quickly, Katie and Chris. It feels like we were taking Lila’s newborn shots just one second ago. Congratulations on a wonderful year and best of luck to you on your next life adventure. We will miss having you in the neighborhood!
I missed these guys! I had to miss our last scheduled session last summer, when Nathan was just a newborn, because my own dear newborn decided to arrive three weeks ahead of schedule. So last Saturday was the first time I had the pleasure of meeting CJ and David’s new(ish) addition and Joshua’s little bro. We had so much fun! Grandpa even made a cameo appearance…It was great catching up with you all again!
The highlight of my week? Finding my baby girl sitting up in her crib, waving at me in the mornings. Figuring out how to maneuver into a sitting position all by herself is a new skill that Ellie is very proud of. Makes me wonder what’s next for our little mover and shaker. Gulp. Happy Friday everyone!
Swoon! My little buddy, Clay, is just getting cuter and cuter…if that is even possible. I can’t even believe that he’s 6 months old already. Time is just flying by. As long as his feeties are on the ground and he’s bouncing, he’s one happy boy. I had a great time catching up with you, Nikki and Paul!
