Tyler and Ben in Olive Park

Would ya just look at how big two of my favorite little clients are getting? Mike and I had such a great time running around with Tyler and Ben last Sunday morning at Olive Park. It was a beautiful day and these two always find a way to crack us up. Hitting the Ohio Street Beach at the end of the session was the highlight for Tyler and Ben…and it’s a good thing we waited until the end of the shoot to hit the sand and surf! It was definitely a wet and wild time. It was great catching up with you, Laura and Andy!

Madeleine

After having gotten rained out last Friday, Mike and I had such a good time with sweet little Madeleine at Montrose Harbor last Saturday afternoon. The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful and the park was the perfect backdrop for this adorable family. Madeleine was a great sport…even when her mommy dipped her toes into the cold Lake Michigan water for the first time. She didn’t much care for that…but man, was it cute! Thanks for another great time, Ali and Erik!

Liam and Company

Last Saturday, Mike and I had the pleasure of meeting more of one of my favorite families. I have been taking photos of little Liam, watching him grow up, since he was just a peanut. I can’t believe how big he’s gotten in the past three months! We kicked off our day with some updated photos for the immediate family, Liam, Bri and Chris, in Lincoln Park. Afterwards, we were joined by Chris’s parents, two brothers and sister-in-law who all made the trek in from the suburbs for a second session. The weather was gorgeous, Liam was incredibly patient and smiley, and we had such a great time. Thanks for letting us be a part of the gang for a few hours, Liam, Bri, Chris, Carol, Jim, Bill, Joe and Abby!

Becky and Adam: The Epic E-Session

Mike and I traveled to Madison, WI this past holiday weekend to share in some of my sister and soon-to-be “fake brother’s” big wedding planning moments and enjoy a relaxing time with the Soares family. One of the major highlights of the weekend for me and Mike was having the honor of taking Becky and Adam’s engagement photos. To say we had been looking forward to this session is the understatement of the year. Our anticipation and excitment surrounding these photos has been growing since well before they ever got engaged, if I am going to be absolutely, albeit crazily, honest. That said, our time together definitely didn’t disappoint. We started out at the Capitol, goofing around and capturing Becky and Adam’s playful, fun relationship in ways that only they could portray it. We even took a few updated family photos with my adorable fur-niece, Haley. (I’m not going to say the dog stole the show, guys…but she is just so darn cute!) Then, after Becky and Adam changed into their “Shirley Temple and LeBron James” looks (they said it…we didn’t!), we headed to the stunning Olbrich Botanical Gardens for a few more formal shots. I know I am the biased big sister and all, but I’ll just come right out and say what everyone else is thinking: Becky and Adam are just the cutest couple! It’s really something to see your little sister so happy. A wish come true. Congratulations again, Becky and Adam! This weekend made us even more excited for your big day next June.

Happy Birthday Logan!

Mike and I have watched this little guy grow from a cuddly 3 month old to the active 3 year old he was at his awesome birthday party last Saturday afternoon. It’s really hard to believe how fast time flies. Logan and his brother, Cooper, are joys to be around and we get such a kick out of them. Thanks for letting us be a part of the fun, Lisa and Jeff!
