The Chicago Riverwalk is one of my favorite places to take photos. Not only because of the awesome variety of urban backdrops within a short walk, but because we all end up falling a little more in love with the city the more we spend time there. I was thrilled to catch up with four of my favorites last Saturday morning. Bryce and Aubrey are getting so big! They were top models, as always, and we had so much fun exploring together. It was wonderful to see you and your beautiful family again, Brooke and Darius. You guys are the best. Thanks for a great time!
These guys! Henry, Elena, Corinne, Todd and I always have a lot of laughs during our sessions together. I am so happy we had a gorgeous day for photos last Saturday. This family deserves it. We have been through little tiny Elena unhappily participating during our very first session, to a much chillier than expected late summer day, to lots of rainouts, reschedules, and ambiguous fall forecasts. They’ve stuck with me through it all, and I’m so glad they have. It’s been such an honor to get to know the four of them, and to watch the kids grow. This shoot was JUST RIGHT as we explored the Riverwalk together. Henry and Elena showed me some of their mad dance moves…they are getting so big! It was wonderful catching up, Corinne and Todd. I love this family! They come together from different parts of the country every 4th of July to catch up at Ama and Grandpa’s house in Kenilworth. What a great tradition! There’s always lots of fun, laughs, and precious cousin time. As always, Alexandra, Andrew, Claire, Charlotte, and Benjamin were top models, and I loved playing with them in Ama’s garden and Grandpa’s impressive Leggo room. Thanks so much Bob, Chris, Amy, Andrew, Mike, Jen, Meredith, and Chris for having me be part of the fun again this year. Your kids are the best, and you have a lovely family. I always look forward to capturing these special memories for you!
I had the best time catching up with my little friend, Olivia, and her parents Jackie and Bill last Saturday morning at Winnemac Park. She’s grown so much since I last saw her. And she had big news to share! I know already she will be an awesome big sister. Congratulations again, Jackie and Bill, on your impending arrival! New baby is very lucky to have such a fun, loving family. Thanks for braving the heat (even at 8AM!) with me!
