I had the best time celebrating Mother’s Day with these four moms last Sunday in Lincoln Park. I’ve known them all for years…watched their children grow up. I was thrilled to capture some sweet, cuddly moments for them, as I know all too well that Mom is often the one making and capturing the memories, rather than being front and center IN them. I wanted to give Cathy, Courtney, Marty, and Kelly a chance to relax and let their kiddos and husbands show them how much they are loved and appreciated. These photos tug at my heart-strings. Not only for the Monet-esque backdrop (I don’t even have the words for how much I love shooting on overcast mornings!), but because of the happiness and love that is captured here. Here’s to you, Moms! You’re doing an amazing job with all of these wonderful, fun, beautiful children!
