I AM SO EXCITED! One of my favorite families just got a little bigger. I was thrilled to meet Hadley and Paxton’s new partner in crime last weekend, baby Lincoln! He is perfection, and apparently following in his big siblings’ top model footsteps because I swear I captured a few smiles at just 10 days old. Hollye and Mike, I am so happy for you! And for me too, because there’s nothing I love more than to capture special moments for your family and watch your beautiful children grow up. Congratulations again!
Tyler and Ben are totally fine taking a photo with each other. So long as they aren’t required to touch. Oh, these brothers. They are two of my absolute favorites to hang out with, and they always make me laugh. This year, they taught me how to properly “dab,” showed off their mad skills at the playground, took some awesome family photos and great shots with their puppy, and humored me by putting their arms begrudgingly around one another when I asked them to. Thanks, guys! It was great catching up with you, Laura and Andy! I always love our sessions together, and can’t even believe how big the boys have grown.
Once upon a time, when there was only a baby Eleanor and a legendary dog named Scout, when Lila was just a wish and a dream, and before there was a spunky pup named Cricket, we took a picture very similar to the one above. It was so special to return to Humbolt Park, six years later, to capture new memories for one of my favorite families. Watching Eleanor and Lila grow up has been such a joy…they always bring a smile to my face. And, as always with these five, (Cricket, who never seemed to turn the right way for a photo but wanted to be in every single one, included!) we had a ton of laughs. It was fantastic catching up with you, Sarah and Eric. And wonderful job, Eleanor and Lila! Now stop growing up SO fast, ok?
Leo! What a cutie. I had the best time hanging out with him, his pup, Oskar, and his parents, Lucy and Brian, last Saturday morning. The weather outside was definitely brisk, but props to this adorable family for braving the more-like-winter temps for a few fun outdoor shots along the 606 towards the end of their session. It was great to see you Lucy, and so nice to meet your lovely family.
We had a gorgeous fall day last Saturday for my last block of outdoor mini sessions for the year. I was so excited about my all-star lineup for the morning…so many fun families I couldn’t wait to catch up with. We met at Lighthouse Beach, one of my favorite spots to shoot, and had a fantastic time. I can’t thank you enough Dana, Chris, Owen, Grace, (and Daisy the dog!), Corinne, Todd, Henry, and Elena, Monica, Kelly, Emma, and Charlotte, Amy, Andrew Sr., Alexandra, and Andrew, and Christine, Gilbert, Kayla, Kamden, and Kelsey for spending your morning with me. You not only kept the day running smoothly, but you made it so much fun and full of laughs. I had the best time seeing all of you again. Until next year!
