Need further proof that I have the best clients in the universe? Last weekends mini sessions at Independence Grove in Libertyville. What a crazy, chilly, WINDY, wild ride! After months of sunshine, we cancelled the Saturday sessions because of storms, only to wake up on Sunday morning to more rain. The overcast Fall sky was gorgeous…the wind and hard-to-predict rain storms were not. After a lot of back and forth on my part, my brave, fun, wonderful families decided to throw caution to the wind (just couldn’t resist!) and said “LET’S GO FOR IT!” I am infinitely glad that we did. So many wonderful smiles and sweet family moments. Whether it was running and jumping with Archer and Lila, having a dance party with Jack and James, snuggling under a soft, warm scarf with Jack and Delaney, or playing around in a super cool wagon with Oliver, I had a blast. THANK YOU Gwen, Tony, Lisa, John, Lisa, Karen, and Tim for being flexible, on time, and all-around amazing.
These two! I always look forward to my time with Reagan and Colin. They are full of smiles, joyful energy, and cuddles, and we had the best time exploring Graue Mill together a few weekends ago. It was wonderful catching up, as always, Amber and Jim! Thanks for a great time.
After taking photos of Rory and Tess last Saturday, I went straight to their cousins’ house and hung out with Owen, Brooks, and Quinn for a little while. How CUTE are these three?! I can’t get enough of them! Baby Quinn was happy to give me a ton of sweet smiles, and big brothers Owen and Brooks did such a good job with running, jumping, and leaf throwing action shots in between cuddly shots with mommy, daddy, and Quinn. Thanks for a great time, Tracy and Brendan!
Love these sisters! I always have a great time catching up with Rory and Tess, and hearing about all of the interesting things they have going on. For Rory, it’s sports, sports, and more sports. Lacrosse, flag football, and soon basketball and much more…this girl is a complete all-star. For Tess, it’s dance, ballet and contemporary, and piano…she’s all sass and sweetness, and her smile can brighten a room. Thanks for a great time, as always, Sarah and Kevin! It was great catching up with you four.
Oh, how I love, love, LOVE this family! It’s always a pleasure catching up with Katy, Jason, Ben, and Molly each year, and we always have a ton of laughs during our sessions together. I’ve been informed by Ben and Molly that this is probably the last year for “noses” or “cheek to cheek” cuddly sibling shots. (Although, I have visions of them recreating the same poses when they are well into their early 20s…just don’t tell them that!) While that makes me sigh (wasn’t Ben a precocious toddler and Molly a tiny newborn peanut, like, a second ago?!), luckily, I have two top models who are ready and willing to teach me the ways of cool tween poses. Thanks for hanging out with me in Lincoln Park last weekend, you four!
