Love, Love, LOVE these guys! I was pumped to hang out with Eleanor, Lila, and their furry side-kick, Cricket, last Saturday morning at Lighthouse Beach. We wanted foliage…and I had to roll my eyes when I pulled in and saw mostly green. And then I saw it. The most perfect, beautiful, stunning Fall tree of all-time. Score! It was photo shoot trifecta. Beautiful backdrop + 70 degree weather (!!!) + amazing smiles from happy, laughing little models = I had trouble culling the photos down for the blog post, there were so many I loved. It was wonderful to see you guys again, Sarah, Eric, Eleanor, Lila, and Cricket! Thanks for a very fun time.
It’s hard for me to believe that Ori is 7 years old. I have been documenting his milestone moments since he was 9 months young, and it’s been so much fun! I know I say it after every single party that Judith and John throw for their kids…but this one was seriously my favorite. A sleepunder…what a great idea! Ori and his buds got to play air hockey and Pacman in their PJs, eat pizza, cupcakes, pop corn, candy, and slushies, and snuggle up in their sleeping bags under the stars to watch one of my all-time favorite childhood movies, The Mighty Ducks. I’m not sure these photos can possibly capture the constant energy and excitement involved when getting 18 boys together, but there was a little bit of magic in that night. What a great time. Thanks for including me, Judith and John. And happy, happy birthday, Ori!
FABULOUS photos, Jenny! Could we have Judith plan our next party?
HaHa
Happy Halloween from Sheriff Callie and her Strawberry sidekick!
I had the best time last Saturday with some of my all-time faves taking fun holiday card photos. My good friend Jennifer Shaffer once again let us borrow her cool Logan Square studio for a special round of mini sessions. All of the kids were complete rock stars…it’s amazing how much we accomplished together in just 20 minutes! A big thank you to Jenn for letting us take over her space for the day, and to all of my amazing clients for being right on time and for making the day so much fun. I’m excited for another round of studio minis in just over a week!
We were on a mission last weekend: find some fall color! The foliage has been late this year, and with the recent wind and rain, who knows whether Chicagoland is going to get a breathtaking fall panorama this season. We searched high and low, and finally found a few beautiful yellow and ONE red tree in Katy, Jason, Ben, and Molly’s hood. Lucky for us, even if the color wasn’t entirely cooperating, the light was. Stunning! After one rain out a few weeks ago, we were all thankful to have a gorgeous day to make some memories. This family is one of my all-time faves…I love spending time with them! Ben and Molly are a blast, and it’s always wonderful to catch up with everyone. Thanks, you four, for a great time!
Cricket is a star!
