Ella, Cora and Brisa

Holy cuteness! It is absolutely impossible not to smile when looking at these photos of Ella, Cora and Brisa. Three adorable sisters on a summer afternoon. What could be more fun than that? It was great to see you again, Stephanie and Mike. I can’t believe how big the girls have grown. It’s been amazing watching your family grow up.

Colby and Alexandra at 31st Street Beach

This is the first session of three last week that I shot in complete fog. You’ve got to love Chicago’s completely unpredictable weather. I have to admit…I love the soft, bright light the fog created. And more than that, I LOVE the smiles that Colby and Alexandra gave me. Best ever! These kids were the ray of light cutting through the fog for me last week. It was great seeing you again, Stefanie and Chase. These photos are so special…I hope you enjoy them!

Bethany and Paul at Olive Park

What a sweet family! We had such a great time exploring Olive Park together. It was one of the nicest periods of sun that we had last week and the five of us enjoyed it to the fullest. Well…maybe not baby Paul. Although I have to say, some of the crying photos we captured of him are just priceless. Despite his discomfort with the idea of family photos, he and big sis Bethany were top models and we all had a lot of laughs. It was so nice to meet you, Grace and Jimmy! You have such a lovely family and it was a pleasure getting to know you.

Linden, Hadley and Holden in Oz Park

It was overcast and threatening rain the morning of our session…but we decided to chance it and go for it anyway. It would have worked out just fine…the light was actually very pretty…except for the fact that the sprinklers in Oz Park were running the entire time we were there! ARG! Sometimes you just can’t win with Mother Nature…or the Chicago City Park District. It didn’t matter…Linden, Hadley and Holden were total pros and gave me some incredible smiles.  They showed off their playground skills and gave each other the best sibling hugs and kisses. No wonder these three are some of my all-time favorites. Thanks for hanging in there with me, Lynsey and Peter. It’s always an adventure!

Evan and Avery

These brothers are getting so big! I had a great time hanging out with one of my favorite families last Saturday at Olive Park. Evan and Avery were amazing. I’ve never, ever gotten such amazing smiles from these two before! It was great seeing you again, Diana and Eddie. It’s always a pleasure watching your adorable family grow.
