It was with profound joy that I met baby Rose last week, and was able to capture these sweet moments for her mama, one of my best friends. Brianne and I met years ago and became fast friends, bonding over our shared profession as photographers and our love of books (and dogs and coffee with a ton of sugar and a million other things!) We have been there for each other during extremely difficult times, so this moment full of happiness meant the world to me. Congratulations seems like an understatement, Brianne and Steve! Rose is absolute perfection, and I couldn’t be happier for you. I’m excited to get to know her as she grows up…and for her to join our monthly brunches, Brianne!
As an aside, it is always nerve-wracking for a photographer to photograph another photographer! I know Brianne most likely felt the same butterflies when she took my family photos this past Spring. I feel incredibly honored to have captured these moments for you, Brianne. I have never seen you so radiant and happy before.
